“I have had the privilege of watching Paul launch AIDA and see it grow. I have seen the immediate results from his techniques and watched the students grow in their acting talent and seen them achieve success to booming work in this ever more difficult business. Paul brings a different approach to this business – one that engages the actor, and a good eye to discern what each student needs most out of the class. I highly recommend that you take a hard look at AIDA and consider if you are ready to move ahead with your career by stepping outside your comfort zone and learning a new way to improve your acting skills”

OTHER ACTING SCHOOLS – USA

“The work that Paul did with the actors was captivating, challenging, wonderfully professional and insightful. Paul set the actors objectives and then worked with them on achieving their goals; this included working on the actors’ ability to connect with their emotions. At IPAC we were so impressed with Paul’s work that we invited Paul to teach ongoing classes of different content.  Overall people consistently raved about how wonderful a teacher Paul was and how caring and thoughtful he was. Paul’s impact on our Performing Arts conferences was profound. I strongly recommend Paul Parker to anyone interested in an acting coach”.

THEATRE DIRECTOR – USA

“I am a graduate from Columbia University MFA Theatre Directing Program in New York. I have known Paul Parker since 2004, having worked with and for him at the Australian Institute of Dramatic Arts in New York. Paul is an expert in governing the energy of an ensemble of actors or bringing out the best in an individual. Paul knows his craft well and approaches training with a balance of rigor and pleasure. He is a great listener and has an eye of an edge. His observations and feedback are poignant with the goal of moving the actor forward in their training. His students leave the classroom fulfilled and ready to embrace the new challenges that lie ahead of them. I guarantee working with Paul Parker will improve an actor’s work”.

INTERNATIONAL ACTING SCHOOL – TOKYO – JAPAN

(Paul Parker has taught there ongoing each year since 2013)

“I ran a workshop from the 1st of May to 4th of May in 2013 in Tokyo, Japan in which I invited and employed Paul Parker to teach acting classes and a business class for presentation. Paul established emotional connection with participants immediately and obtained trust from them. He described the importance of fascination, individuality and personality within the actor; instead of external acting skills.

I have been studying many methods from all over the world and I know a lot of teaching techniques. However, his Australian Technique was a great stimulus for me. Furthermore, I saw that the participants were changing in front of me. In particular, there were many immediate effects for many of the actors who are shy and seldom show their feelings. I was also impressed by not only the “achievement” consequences following the workshop, but also his empowering of the students with motivation which inspires them to learn more after he leaves.

In a workshop for business people, he demonstrated how effective and useful acting training is. Showing creativity, releasing emotional feeling, improving the power of breath and voice to definitely assist in obtaining some authority in business! We have not noticed or introduced the importance of these points in Japan, I feel that this workshop is cutting-edge and suitable for my purpose and my work. All participants love the human being “Paul Parker” and I am proud of the workshop with 100% of satisfaction. I deeply appreciate him and these workshops. Thank you Paul!”WINGS INT’L / ASCEND FEATHER Inco.  Bechaku Shinji CEO –  Play writer・Director・Lecturer of acting, Tokyo, Japan

BUSINESS – MARKETING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – USA

“I heard about Paul’s amazing reputation as an acting teacher throughout both Hollywood in Los Angeles and Manhattan in New York and consequently attended one of AIDA’s acting classes in early 2006 in New York. After the experience I was so impressed myself that I know the type of work that Paul does at the Australian Institute of Dramatic Arts would be invaluable for my work colleagues at ARF (American research Foundation). I thoroughly recommend Paul and AIDA to any actors or business people that are interested in improving their ability to both work as a team in their office and/or learn more about how they are perceived in the general market place at large. If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me”.

ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY BUSINESS – CEO – USA

“The reason I send everyone I know to AIDA is that virtually everyone, without exception, has nothing but great things to say about Paul’s classes – from the actual content, the quality and care put in, and the warm, nurturing environment created not only by the teachers, but the other students as well. I have never heard a single negative comment from the many, many hundreds of Industry actors that I have referred to him. So when I give Paul my highest recommendation, its not just me, its multiplied by a factor of many, many hundreds”.
